  The information in April 28th from the State Quality Inspection Administration of China 

said that the file- "The restriction for Excessive Goods Packing(Including foods and

cosmetics) " was released , all standards will be put into practice after April 1st, 2010.
  We learn from the office that a few commodities in market now have the over-packing

problems. In order to enhance the supervision of goods packing, reducing the ethos of ove-

packing and the waste of national resources, the experts of national standard organization

establish the standard on the basis of widely research and reference of  many foreign

concerning data.
  The standart stipulated three indexes compellent on foods and cosmetics: spacing

rate,layers and costs.
  Spacing rate: the packing spacing rate should under 60%.
  Layers:Layers should be packed less than 3.
  Costs: all the packing costs expect original packing should not exceed the 20% of the sale

price.
  Meanwhile, some same problems among Drinking Wine, cakes, foods, health foods, and

cosmetics, the standard will adjust correspondingly. The release of the standard now provides

a technically  basis for over-packing supervision .
